Investigation of Civil Rights Activities at Colleges and Universities

The Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission conducted a series of investigations surrounding the integration of state and national universities. Among these investigations include the attempted enrollment of Clyde Kennard and John Frazier at the University of Southern Mississippi. This exhibit includes documents from these types of investigations as well as surveillance of students and professors who participated in civil rights demonstrations.
