From the Eudora Welty Digital Archives Photographs Collection - MDAH. Black-and-white photograph of two boys [Walter and Edward Welty] and three girls [left to right: Eudora Welty, Grace Welty, and Jane Percy Slack] either sitting on a cannon or on the cannon carriage [noted as at Vicksburg National Military Park]. The boy closest to the camera is wearing a dark jacket and newsboy cap, and the girls are wearing dark dresses with light-colored collars. All are looking at the camera and there are trees in the background.
