Detailed Description

From the Eudora Welty Digital Archives Photographs Collection - MDAH. Black-and-white photograph of a young Black girl wearing a light-colored, patterned dress that stops mid-thigh and has no sleeves, and light-colored socks with Mary Janes. Her hair is tied back and has a light-colored bow on the side of her hair. There is a cloth item at her elbow that matches the dress pattern and she is holding a dark umbrella. She is standing on a sidewalk with bushes, trees, and a road behind her. Bottom left corner reads "Sunday - Jackson, Miss".
