From the Eudora Welty Digital Archives Photographs Collection - MDAH. Black-and-white photograph of a covered sidewalk with front columns. There is a man in dark clothes and hat leaning against a column with more men in similar clothing leaning against the storefronts. There are more people walking on the sidewalk in the background. The text in the bottom left reads "Saturday afternoon, Courthouse Town - Canton, Miss."
