Detailed Description
From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Mississippi State Penitentiary (Parchman) Photograph Collection (PI/1996.0006). Black-and-white photograph of a large group of men constructing a brick building. There are two men on the ground on the left-hand side of the image, and twenty-six either on scaffolding or ladders at the top of the ongoing construction project. On the ground at the forefront of the image are various construction materials including piles of bricks, barrels, and a carriage on the right-hand side.
