Detailed Description

From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Rogers (Jeff) Hurricane Katrina Photographs Collection (PI/2005.0024). Color photograph of a large pile of debris from buildings gathered along the side of the street. The debris includes a woman’s bathroom door, bookshelves, tables, along with other building materials. The photo’s right-side is an arch with a truck parked underneath. A group of people are walking away from the camera towards the arch, while passing a man who is pushing a wheelbarrow full of trash. There’s a group of trees and buildings on the photo’s left-side and center.
