Detailed Description

From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Allard (Michael A.) Hurricane Katrina Photograph Collection (EA2012.004). Color photograph of storm damage and debris around the foundation of where a building used to be. In the foreground there is what appears to be a driveway or road leading up to a cement plot that was likely the foundation of a home or other structure. Around the cement foundation, there is debris in the form of building materials, tree limbs and down trees, and even a large section of a black fence. The debris can be seen all the way into the background and strewn into the branches of the trees still standing as well.
