From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Crowe (Milburn J.) Photograph Album Collection. Four black-and-white portraits featuring African American individuals. Each photograph is in a rounded cut-out with a simple line border and the overall page has a line border with floral decorations in the corners. The top-left is a portrait of a young boy who is sitting and facing the camera. He is wearing a dark suit with the jacket unbuttoned, with a light-colored shirt, and dark bow-tie. He is also wearing a dark, wide-brimmed bowler hat. His left hand is resting on his left thigh and his right forearm and hand are resting on a fringed armrest. The top-right is a portrait of a young girl, sitting and facing the camera. She is wearing a dark dress with light-colored polka dots, and a light-colored lace kerchief around her neck. Her dark hair is in a pompadour style. Her clasped hands are resting in her lap. The bottom-right is a portrait of a man sitting and a woman standing to his left, both looking at the camera. Her right hand is resting on his shoulder and her left arm is resting by her side. His clasped hands are resting on his left thigh. She is wearing a lighter-colored dress with ruffles along the cuffs and jacket bottom and large buttons down the center of the chest. She has a blue kerchief around her shoulders. Her dark hair is pulled back and she has a decorative hair piece. She is wearing dangling earrings. He is wearing a dark, pinned-striped, unbuttoned suit jacket with a dark, pin-striped, buttoned vest. His pants are a lighter color, and he has a light-colored button-up shirt on. He has dark, short facial hair with dark, cropped hair parted on his head's right side. His shoes are obscured due to deterioration at the bottom of the photograph. The bottom-right is a portrait of a woman standing and her body pointed to the camera's left. Her right hand is resting on the back of a large carved chair and her left is resting at her side. She is wearing a light-colored dress and jacket that are decorated with dark stripes across the skirt and arms, and down the chest. Her dark hair is pulled back and a ribbon is tied around her head. She is wearing dangling earrings. The bottom two photographs are placed on the page, not in the openings. There is a pink smudge in the page's top right corner, as well as tearing a deterioration at the page's bottom.
