The photograph has a simple line border with a floral pattern in the corners. His body is facing the camera, but his head is turned slightly to his left. He has dark, medium-length curly hair that has an off-center right-side part. He has a thick mustache and small soul patch. He has a dark suit jacket and vest on with a light-colored, high-collared button-down shirt, and a thin bow-tie. There is a heavy vignette around the edges that obscures his body starting at the edges of his shoulders and mid-chest. "Dr. T. A. Brown" is written on the bottom of the photograph. There is water damage at the page's top and bottom, and significant tearing and deterioration at the page's bottom.
