From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Crowe (Milburn J.) Photograph Album Collection. A black-and-white portrait of a young African American woman. The photograph has a simple line border with a floral pattern in the corners. The figure is wearing a dark-colored dress with ruffles on the back and a white, ruffled collar. She has several strings of pearl necklaces around her neck that fall to about mid-chest, dangling earrings, and a ring on her left pointer finger. Her hair is pulled back with a center part. Her face and body are turned towards the photograph's right side. Her arms are crossed with her left hand on top, and she is leaning on a cushioned object. "M.V. Montgomery" is written in blue above the photograph. The page’s bottom has several tears.
