From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Crowe (Milburn J.) Photograph Album Collection. Four black-and-white photographs featuring African American individuals. Each image is in a rounded cut-out with a simple line border and the overall page has a line border with floral decorations in the corners. The top-left is a portrait of a woman sitting and young girl standing next to her, both are looking at the camera. The woman has a dark skirt with a slightly-lighter jacket that is decorated with a dark stripe across the shoulders and chest, as well as small ruffles at the cuffs. She has a kerchief around her neck. Her dark hair is pulled back with a blue headband and is wearing dangling earrings. Her right arm is around the girl's waist and the woman's left hand, which has several rings on it, is holding the girl's shoulder. The girl is wearing a dark skirt and light-colored shirt with blue near the collar and cuffs. Her right arm is by her side and left arm is resting on the woman's right leg. The girl’s dark hair is pulled back. Her face is somewhat blurry. "M.R. Montgomery" is written in blue above the image. The top-right is a portrait of a young man with his body and head facing the camera. He is wearing a darker-colored, unbuttoned suit jacket that is darker around the collar, with a darker-colored, buttoned vest. Under the vest is a light-colored button-up and bow-tie. His dark hair parted on the left side of his head. The bottom-right is a portrait of a young child sitting in a covered chair and facing the camera. They are wearing light-colored clothing with 3/4 sleeves and falls to their knees. The jacket has a dark line running along the edge from top to bottom. They are wearing light-colored, knee-height socks with dark lace-up boots. Their hands are resting in their lap, and their right leg is bent with the ankle and foot resting on the chair while their left leg dangles off the chair. They have short dark hair. There are light-colored dots across the image. The bottom-left is a portrait of a baby who is sitting and facing the camera. They are wearing light-colored clothes and a light-colored blanket is laid across their legs. Their hands are resting against their chest, and the drapes behind the baby are cradling their head. There is deterioration and tearing at the page's bottom edge that somewhat obscures the bottom of the bottom left photograph.
