From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History 1927 Flood Photograph Collection. Shows a single black-and-white photograph of a flood scene. Depicts a line of box-cars on train-tracks, which runs from foreground to background. The car closest to the camera is filled with stone, and the second closest to the camera has "I.C.401644" written on its side. Next to the cars are piles of stone, stacks of wooden pallets, several figures in small boats, and a one-story building with a figure on its platform and a sign that reads "WAYSIDE." There are two figures and a dog on the tracks in the background. There are power lines and poles on either side of the tracks, as well as a building in the background of the camera's right side. In the far background are several tree lines. Text in bottom right reads "Wayside 5-11-27."
