From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History 1927 Flood Photograph Collection. Shows two black-and-white photographs put together to make a panorama of a flood scene. Depicts several pyramid-style tents on a levee surrounded by flood-waters on both sides. There are a number of figures, vehicles, and boats on the levee. On the photo's right side is a section of a fence, a tree, and power line and pole. In the background of the photo's left side are several figures driving machinery, and the far background shows a tree line. Text in bottom right reads "Greenville, 5-11-27."
