Depicts African Americans standing in a line, either facing the camera or the camera's left, and some individuals sitting on planks of wood in the immediate foreground and facing the camera. There are a number of military-style tents behind the line. The line travels from background to foreground and right to left. Text in bottom right reads "Birdsong Camp at Cleveland Miss 4-29-27."
