Description

From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Rogers (Jeff) Hurricane Katrina Photographs Collection (PI/2005.0024). Color photograph of storm damage on the road and guardrail over a waterway out the driver side window of a car. The guardrail is severely bent, and the metal touches the ground in much of the image. On the roadway itself, there is a significant buildup of dirt. In the background, the water can be seen as well as the coastline.
