The camera’s view is from the roof of a train box-car and overlooks a flooded area of land, with the train on unflooded tracks. The train is on the photo's right side of the photo running from the immediate foreground to far background, and there are two figures on the roof. There is a large group of people standing alongside the train, some facing the camera and others facing away. There are two rows of utility-poles paralleling the train on both sides. On the left side of the photo is a flooded area with several boats of various sizes in the water. In the far background on the photo's left side is a tree line. Text in bottom right reads "Leland, Miss. 4-25-27."
