From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History 1927 Flood Photograph Collection. Shows the top right photo of an album page with four black-and-white photographs of flood scenes. Depicts a makeshift camp on several sets of railroad tracks taken from the roof of a box-car. There are various figures on the tracks, which run from the foreground to far background. In the background there is a set of diverging tracks that are covered by flood waters with a row of open-wagon cars on it. There is a row of utility-poles on both sides of the main tracks with a tree line in the background across the photo. Text in bottom right reads "N. from Helm, Miss. 4-30-27."
