From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History 1927 Flood Photograph Collection. Shows the bottom right photo of an album page with four black-and-white photographs of flood scenes. Depicts a makeshift wooden structure on a platform between railroad tracks and flood waters, with three figures looking out the entrance to the structure at the camera. The structure’s roof is covered by various tarps and a carpet, and there is a dog, wood debris, and various objects by the structure's entrance. There is a small, mostly-sunken boat in the water on the photo's left side, and two small, floating boats on the photo's right side. Text in bottom right reads "Helm, Miss. 4-30-27."
