From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History 1927 Flood Photograph Collection. Shows the bottom left photo of an album page with four black-and-white photographs of flood scenes. Depicts a pyramid-style tent on a slope of unflooded ground next to flood waters. There is a small boat in the immediate foreground, and another boat in the photo’s center. There are various makeshift tents in the background as well as a train of box-cars with several figures by the train. In the far background are several parked vehicles by the train, with a row of utility-poles behind the train. There is a tree and another row of utility-poles on the photo's right side in the flood waters. Text in bottom right reads "Helm 5-9-27."
