From the Mississippi Department of Archives and History 1927 Flood Photograph Collection. Shows the top left photo of an album page with four black-and-white photographs of flood scenes. The camera is looking down from the roof of a box-car and overlooking a flooded area. The box-car is a part of a train that runs from the right side of the immediate foreground towards the right side in the background. The box-cars are partially submerged in flood waters. There are several rows of box-cars on the photo's left side and center towards the background. In the photo’s center, there is a raised platform with partially submerged stairs, large objects, barrels, and several livestock. There is a row of utility-poles and power lines running from the photo's center to the far background’s right side. On the far left side of the photo’s background, there are several buildings and trees. Text in bottom right reads "Rolling Fork, Miss. 5-2-27."
